The Aardvark French Language Program (Grades 1–12 & Adult FSL) is tailored for non-native speakers eager to master French as a second language. Through personalized one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, students develop essential vocabulary, grasp grammatical structures, and build a strong foundation for a positive and confident experience with French. Frequently Asked QUESTION:  
Q:  I am an adult student and I want to study FRENCH for Permanent Residency.  I do NOT speak any French right now.  How many hours does it take before I can reach a B2 level in the European Common Framework? 

A:  250 hours is a good barometer for a person who is mono lingual.  However, someone that is already multilingual might acquire French language faster than a person who is mono lingual.  To be on the safe side, give yourself 250 hours of French FSL and roughly 6 months of study to write the exam.

The 3-8 French as a Second Language Program is designed for English Speakers that desire to learn French as a Second Language.  The one-one Tutoring sessions in French (FSL) are designed to establish the key vocabulary, grammatical patterns and build the foundations of positive experiences with French Language that enable student Confidence & Success in French Immersion Primary Schools.

Le programme de Français Langue Seconde (FLS) de 4 - 8 est destiné aux anglophones qui désirent d’apprendre le français comme une deuxième langue. Nos séances de tutorat en français, qui sont tête-à-tête, sont spécifiquement conçues à établir une compréhension de vocabulaire clé, des modèles grammaticaux et à construire des expériences positives avec la langue française qui permettent la confiance et le succès dans les programmes d’immersion.

The 9-12 French as a Second Language Program builds on the foundations already established in French as a Second Language.  The one-one Tutoring sessions enable accelerated learning of French develop the semantic language patterns that will allow Aardvark students to succeed in French High Schools and on technical exams in preparation for College & University entrance.

QUESTION:  HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO BECOME FLUENT IN FRENCH FSL?
A.  Best results are achieved after 250 hours of study.   You can attend class three or four times a week to achieve 250 hours.  It is important to note here that FSL or TCF-Adults who take less than 32 hours of FRENCH class at Aardvark Learning Academy significantly reduce the chance that they will achieve their French language goals.  Should you decide to take less than 32 hours of study at Aardvark, we make no promises that you will achieve results.
