English for Academic Success
The 8 week EAS course develops core English language and academic writing skills required for ESL students to do well on academic essays at school, University or College level in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and the United States. The course also teaches ESL students the core writing skills necessary to succeed as undergraduates at a Canadian College or University. Aardvark Instructors specialize in ESL and we guarantee results on for all full time ESL students. We offer ESL academic English courses for Intermediate (Levels 3-4) and Advanced students (Level 5+) using the "Skills for Success" textbook series. |
Conversation & Essential Skills Course
The ESL Conversation & Essential Skills Course is 8 weeks in length and provides solid foundations in English language grammar, reading, speaking and listening skills required to succeed socially and professionally in English. We offer courses for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels. |
ESL for New Canadian Families
New Canadian families, ESL adults and non native English speaking students Grades 1-12 are always welcome to join our ESL English class at Aardvark. Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I join a group class ONLINE right now OR in later in 2024?
A. Yes you can join ESL class in progress now OR start later in 2024. Classes are ongoing everyday, please contact Jeff.
Q. How long is the course duration?
A. Best results are achieved after 250 hours of study. You can attend class three or four times a week to achieve 250 hours. It is important to note here that ESL-Adults who take less than 32 hours of ESL-EAP class at Aardvark Learning Academy significantly reduce the chance that they will achieve ESL-IELTS, CELPIP goals. Should you decide to take less than 32 hours of study at Aardvark, we make no promises that you will achieve your IELTS, CELPIP or EAP goals.
Q. Where can we write / take the IELTS exam?
A. The IELTS test is organized through George Brown College in Toronto. Just call or visit the College website and they can help you organize the IELTS test.
Q. How much will it cost?
A. One-One Private rate is 55$ per hour + 75$ registration fee and + 15$ materials fee. Group fee is 35$ per hour. Contact us for a free consultation to determine your situation.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Aardvark will send you an email request for Payment that can be paid by Credit Card or E-Transfer.
Q. Can Aardvark Learning Academy Provide a STUDY VISA or STUDENT VISA for international students?
A. NO. Aardvark Learning Academy is NOT a Designated Learning Institute and does NOT provide a Study Visa or Student visa. International students are accepted on VISITORS Visa or work visa or Online. For example, several International adult students visit friends and family in Barrie and begin studying at Aardvark Learning Academy during their 3 month holiday period. The ESL courses at Aardvark Learning Academy can be extremely helpful for your English language fluency for anyone that will attend College, University or professional jobs in Canada in the future.
